2-21-24    Economy Reset

Today is the day, we're rolling out the economy reset for our servers economy! Starting today everyone's balances will be reset, all lands will be reduced to one chunk, and new shops and pricing will be rolled out. As well as some other cool features and changes, read them all about them below!

Sorry about the long wait, the staff and I'm sure all of you as well have been pretty busy with real life.

Price Overhaul

Houlaic now only buys and sells iron and gold, iron for $15 and gold for $60. These two will now be the "currencies" of the economy, and can be sold for cash, or bought back at the same rate. You will need to trade these items now for in person trading as /pay is now disabled. Prices for lands related things have been altered around this. Lands have been reduced to a single chunk (to prevent them selling off chunks for money and a head start in the new economy, and to give lands as even of a playing field as possible).

The Bloody Arm

Roland has finally opened up shop in Nakan, and I'm sure many of you have guessed what it is he will sell from some teases that have been dropped. Roland is an arms dealer, and he sells Ancient Manuscripts, which are an item necessary to craft new and improved weapons, to make them, simply throw the manuscript and the materials it asks for onto a smithing table!

Teleportation & Travel Changes

Get your hiking boots on, cause you might need them! Elytra will no longer work.

In addition, /back is no longer avaliable. /tpa is no longer avaliable. /home is now limited to donation ranks. You may still /lands spawn however you must pay a fee and the spawn must be public if you are not a citizen of said land.

The main form of travel now is roads, which can be upgraded to speed roads via paving them, or even faster roads by using redstone blocks and smooth stone under a top layer. Of course ice roads and nether highways are also a possibility, but then you don't get the most amazing views and landscapes you've ever seen!

Oddities of Ethelia

A traveler named Narkissos now sells items he claims "Have come from the End itself, plucked from under the nose of Aora." whether these items are genuine or not is unclear, maybe it's an elaborate scam? The bricks look nice at least... Albeit a little pricy.

The Oubliette

A mysterious frog seems to have set up shop in Nakan... I wonder what his purpose here is...
